The Witte Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Matthias Seiler as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Dr. Marius Giesecke as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). With these appointments, the Witte Group strengthens its top management team and underlines its ambition to further sharpen the strategic focus of the international group of companies and to grow sustainably.
Dr. Seiler brings more than 20 years of international management experience from various executive positions, including as Director of New Business Development, as a globally responsible innovation management executive and as Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer in a medium-sized company. He studied process and energy engineering at the Technical University of Berlin, earned his Ph.D. at the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and later successfully completed an Executive MBA with a focus on corporate management, strategy and innovation management at Mannheim and ESSEC Business School. His core competencies include strategic management, innovation management and new business development.
As CEO, Dr. Seiler has taken over the responsibility and management of the Witte Group companies, including Witte Group GmbH & Co KG, Witte Technology GmbH, Witte New Ventures GmbH and Maquiladora Gráfica Mexicana S.A. de C.V. (MGM) in Mexico, which he manages together with his fellow managing directors.
Dr. Giesecke, who is taking over the position of CFO of the Witte Group, has extensive financial expertise and experience in commercial corporate management. Dr. Giesecke, who holds a Ph.D. in economics, began his 14-year career at a renowned international auditing firm. In the years that followed, he initially assumed operational responsibility for finance at a listed specialty pharmaceutical company before taking over as Vice President of the group-wide finance department. Most recently, he was Head of Finance & Administration of the European hub of a major international corporation. Dr. Giesecke studied economics at the Leibniz University of Hanover, where he also completed his Ph.D. In addition to his specialist knowledge of accounting and corporate finance, his core competencies include a broad and integrative expertise in finance.
With these key appointments, the Witte Group is optimally positioned to further expand its leading position in customer-specific solutions in the fields of industrial printing, security printing and printed electronics.
